WHY WE DO IT
Across the nation, law enforcement agencies are facing unprecedented challenges in recruiting and retaining qualified officers, ensuring officer wellness, and maintaining strong community trust. Pueblo is no exception. Budget constraints often limit access to advanced training, wellness programs, and modern equipment that can improve both officer performance and community safety. At the same time, meaningful outreach programs that build trust between officers and residents often require additional support to succeed. Most importantly, the Pueblo Police Force is operating at 30% below capacity which cause response time delays, reduced community policing efforts, difficulty covering shifts, lower officer retention, and increased risk to public and officer safety.

Consider being a Pueblo Police Department volunteer
The Pueblo Police Foundation operates in a very transparent manner. Donors will receive a charitable donation receipt for tax purposes. The foundation will disclose the dollar amount and purpose of funds spent or issued. All funds raised will go to support the Pueblo Police Department.
Sponsorship Opportunities will also be available in the future as we determine what fundraising events will fit best within our community. Once those events are confirmed, they will be added to our calendar and we would love to have your support in the form of a monetary sponsor, in-kind sponsor or donor, or an event volunteer.
